SER for Descriptions

Using ser to describe permanent/inherent qualities of things and people

·SER for: identity, origin, material, time, descriptions of inherent qualities
·Adjectives must agree in gender and number: La mesa es grande / Los platos son blancos
·Masculine adjectives end in -o, feminine in -a (except: grande, inteligente, etc.)
·Plural: add -s after vowel, -es after consonant

Examples

Este celular es rosado, pequeño y rápido.

This cellphone is pink, small, and fast.

Esas llaves son pequeñas y coloridas.

Those keys are small and colorful.
